LINDSAY LOHAN has allegedly stolen $15,000 worth of clothes from the set of "Scary Movie 5". Of course, this is from the "National Enquirer", so who knows if it's true. A source says, quote, "The clothes were on her wardrobe racks. Some nice tops and skirts and other items were gone. I guess Lindsay thought she was entitled to it, like free soap at a hotel. "All the other actors knew about it, but the producers just put it down to the price you had to pay for doing business with Lindsay."A rep for the studio says this story is, quote, "definitely not true."
TOM CRUISE FILED A $50MIL LAWSUIT AGAINST LIFE & STYLE MAGAZINE!
Tom Cruise has filed a $50 million lawsuit against Life & Style and In Touch magazines, claiming the magazines defamed him by reporting he had abandoned 6-year-old daughter Suri. In the lawsuit, Tom takes issue with the July 30th cover of Life & Style, which reads, "SURI IN TEARS, ABANDONED BY HER DAD" -- as well as the October 1 cover of In Touch, which shows a picture of Suri above the headline, "ABANDONED BY DADDY."
BOBBY BROWN JUST GOT HIS 2ND DUI OF THE YEAR…
BOBBY BROWN just got his second DUI of the year. He got picked up yesterday morning at around 1:00 A.M. after cops saw him weaving down an L.A. street. They pulled him over and gave him a field sobriety test, which he failed. Cops say he also flunked a breathalyzer test . . . but we don't know the results. Bobby also got nailed back in March . . . about a month after the death of his ex-wife WHITNEY HOUSTON.
METTA WORLD PEACE IS STARRING IN A LIFETIME MOVIE…WITH JENNIE GARTH?
This is pretty random: METTA WORLD PEACE the Los Angeles Lakers star formerly known as RON ARTEST is starring in an upcoming Lifetime movie, that's based on a mystery novel written by NANCY GRACE. It's called "The Eleventh Victim", and it's about a "young psychology student," whose "world explodes" when her fiancé is MURDERED just before their wedding. Out of the wreckage of her exploded world, the woman goes on to become a successful prosecutor. She retires after putting away a serial killer becomes a therapist and is accused of being a serial killer herself when someone begins murdering her patients. JENNIE GARTH is playing the woman, and Metta World Peace is playing her best friend, a detective. In a recent radio interview, he said it's a, quote, "big part." He added, quote, "I met Nancy Grace on the set of 'Dancing with the Stars' . . . and she really liked the way that I was acting on the show, which is acting kind of silly. But I'm a pretty decent actor and she just picked me for the part. "I was like, 'Wow.' There was no way I was turning it down.”
IS JESSICA SIMPSON’S BIBLE THUMMPIN’ DAD GAY?
JESSICA SIMPSON'S parents, JOE and TINA, are getting divorced. And there's talk all over the World Wide Web of Baseless Speculation that the real reason they're splitting is because Joe is GAY. A so-called "source" says Joe gathered the family together two months ago and came out of the closet. He said he tried to make things work with Tina, but he, quote, "couldn't go on any longer and deny the fact that he had these feelings for men." One source claims he already has a 20-something boyfriend. Joe was arrested for drunk driving back in August, and the police report says there was someone in the car with him. The source says it may have been Joe's new toy. Tina filed divorce papers on September 24th, citing "discord or conflict of personalities." But a Simpson family rep is denying the gay rumor. He says, quote, "It is an amicable split and there is no third party involved. Any other related allegations are completely false. The family appreciates your respect for their privacy at this time." Joe and Tina have been married for 34 years. He's 54 . . . she's 52.
THE JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE/JESSICA BIEL WEDDING COST $6.5MIL! AND HOMELESS PEOPLE WERE INVOLVED…
During Justin and Jessica's $6.5 million wedding in southern Italy, guests were amused by an eight and a half minute video of homeless people, transvestites and street musicians wishing the couple well. The video was put together by a longtime friend of Justin's . . . L.A. real estate agent Justin Huchel. It begins with text that says, quote, "Greetings From Your Hollywood Friends Who Just Couldn't Make It" . . .Followed by various street people acting like they're old friends and are sad they couldn't be there. A rep for Huchel says his client did it all on his own, without Justin or Jessica's knowledge . . .and it was meant as a joke.

One day after fans of Metallica received great news about a new concert film Quebec Magnetic being released on December 10 as a two-DVD package, Blu-ray and digital video, guitarist Kirk Hammett gave them even better news – the group is gearing up to start work on a new album “in the next couple of months.” Hammett told Loudwire, “We’re going to meet up and start throwing ideas together. I’m really looking forward to that.”

The United States filed a lawsuit against Bank of America yesterday, accusing it of selling thousands of toxic home loans to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Those loans then went into default and cost more than $1 billion in losses. The scheme ran from 2007 to 2009 and caused “countless” foreclosures, according to the suit. The case is the U.S. Department of Justice’s first civil mortgage fraud lawsuit over mortgage loans sold to Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac. Bank of America, the second-largest U.S. bank, has yet to respond.

Barnes & Noble announced Tuesday that customers’ credit card information may have been compromised. The company said that devices used to swipe credit and debit cards have been tampered with in 63 of its stores across nine states. The stores are in California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island. Barnes & Noble warned customers to check for unauthorized transactions and to change their PINs, though it did not say how many accounts may have been affected. All the PIN pads in its nearly 700 stores nationwide were disconnected on Sept. 14 after the company learned of the tampering. Federal authorities are helping investigate.

On Tuesday, a Detroit Tigers fan posted an ad on Craigslist offering to trade his HOUSE for tickets to see the Tigers in the World Series. Which sounds like a deal . . . except that his house is in Detroit. He lives in an area where houses are going for as little as $1,300 . . . whereas two standing room only tickets to Detroit's first World Series home game are only slightly cheaper, at $718.

At the beginning of the baseball season, 58 experts from "Sports Illustrated" and ESPN tried to predict the matchup in the World Series. And NONE of them picked Detroit versus San Francisco. Only eight picked the Tigers to make it, and only six picked the Giants.

The guy they call the Panda was a bear at the plate on Wednesday in Game 1 of the World Series. Pablo Sandoval crushed three home runs, including two off reigning Cy Young Award winner Justin Verlander, to lift the San Francisco Giants past the Detroit Tigers 8-3. Panda’s parade of big bombs placed his name alongside Babe Ruth, Reggie Jackson and Albert Pujols as the only men to hit three home runs in a World Series game. Barry Zito threw 5 2/3rd strong innings to pick up his first World Series win. Game 2 is tonight right back in San Francisco.
JOE GARARDI SAYS A-ROD WILL START AT THIRD…
Hoping to leave little doubt about his support of his struggling superstar, New York Yankees skipper Joe Girardi on Wednesday made it perfectly clear that Alex Rodriguez will be the team’s starting third baseman next season. Girardi said in his end-of-the-year press conference, “I expect Alex to be our every-day third baseman. What is he going to have to show me? That he is healthy and ready to go. That’s the bottom line – that he has no concerns and we have no concerns about putting him out there every day.”

The New York Islanders, who currently play their home games at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island, announced on Wednesday they will play on a new frozen pond when their current lease expires after the 2015 season. Team owner Charles Wang announced the “other” New York hockey club has agreed to a 25-year deal to move into the brand new Barclays Center in Brooklyn, where they will share the state-of-the-art facility with the Brooklyn Nets, formerly the New Jersey Nets. New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who on hand for yesterday’s announcement, said, “Brooklyn is big time and now we have the big league sports to prove it.”
UN-SUH-TABLE: LIONS DT TOPS LIST OF LEAST LIKED NFL PLAYERS
Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh was voted the least liked NFL player in a survey of fans conducted by Nielsen and E-Poll Market Research and published by Forbes magazine on Wednesday. Fans were asked to respond with “like” or “like him a lot,” and Suh rated just 19 percent. Rounding out the top 10 were Jay Cutler, Michael Vick, Randy Moss, Matt Leinert, Tony Romo, Kyle Orton, Santonio Holmes, Mark Sanchez and Brady Quinn.
